We meet monthly to have healing and deliverance meetings. Does that seem biblical? Yes, healing and deliverance are biblical, but should we have a regular, set-aside meeting for this purpose? Or should we expect it to be a part of our daily life, no appointment needed? It's biblical to walk in power! We have received grace to move in gifts from God given to us to heal people and even nations. Jesus is the hope, and we are the vessels that hope flows through. We are the Giant Slayers that hope and grace flow through as we take down demons and diseases that hold people in need in bondage. The whole Church is called and equipped for this because of the powerful new creation in us.

We can break out of how the enemy is holding us back, keeping us from becoming the Giant Slayers we were born to be. Look at David, the first Giant Slayer. David was tasked with taking care of the sheep and then taking care of his brothers. But, like us, David was called to lead the Children of Israel to victory by slaying the giant Goliath. I know some Giant Slayers, and they don't need a title or a meeting to find a giant to slay. Jesus pours into all that want to be Giant Slayers the power and authority to stand in unity with Him. We are the Davids, the Giant Slayers. We must not let anyone else define us. We must be defined by the scriptures and allow Jesus to define us.

 Will we keep having monthly healing and deliverance meetings? Yes, we will. We want people set free. That's who we are. However, the end purpose is not to have bigger meetings but to teach the body of Christ, the whole body of Christ, how to move in love and power. Healing Rooms and Deliverance Rooms are for raising Giant Slayers. The Giant Slayers are not behind the pulpit. It's us, all of us who come together and allow Holy Spirit to lead us. Like David, rise you Giant Slayers and lead the Church into her victory by walking in the power given to you at the cross and the authority given through scripture. We are today's Giant Slayers. Giant Slayers arise! The army of God is waiting for you. 

 Testimony

 Last Saturday, when Holy Spirit was resting in the meeting, someone passed out, and Giant Slayers came to the rescue for healing and deliverance. At the same time, this was going on with a group of traveling Christians in an RV parked outside the GateDC with a 101-year-old grandmother who needed ministry. Two other Giant Slayers went out to minister to her, and her eyes became clear. I think Jesus is starting a Giant Slayer school at the GateDC.
