In mid February God was speaking to us on a Saturday night about pressing in and on and up into those things that we think are impossible. He is calling us to do the impossible and when we do it will totally change everything around us. There are times when we feel like nothing will change and everything will remain the same. Nothing could be further from the truth. We, ourselves, are being changed from glory to glory. The earth is being changed by the growing number of believers in Jesus. You are in Christ. Christ is in the Father. The Father is in Christ and Christ is in you. In the Fathers house are many dwelling places and you are in the Fathers house.

Continue to press in to lay hold of those things that you thought were impossible for ALL THINGS are possible to those who love the Lord and are called according to his purpose. Nothing shall be impossible for you. Your life is in Christ and because he has risen and is with the Father you can ask ANYTHING in his name and he will do it. Let us believe what he has said and let us press in to be partakers of the Kingdom of God on earth and see our God in the land of the living. This will glorify the name of the Lord Jesus as we continue to pray. Our Father, in heaven, your name is holy! May your kingdom will come and your will is done on earth as it is in heaven. These are days to catch the wind and fly. There is momentum as the kingdom of God advances on the earth. .

A week later The Gate team was in Israel to tour, worship, and pray. We stood one morning in Kursi among the ruins of a 1700 year old Byzantine church built where Jesus delivered the demoniac of legions of demons. A gate in the heavens opened like a portal. Someone cried out, “discernment” and began to pray for spiritual discernment for the people of Israel. Others wept and some trembled in the presence of the Lord as we declared that the heavens were open and a new season of deliverance had come. We prayed for signs and wonders and miracles. A whirlwind seemed to hit us in the open space between the ancient walls as we prayed.

Someone began to declare the words of Jesus reminding us that he always spoke of those “who have eyes to see, ears to hear and a heart of understanding.” We prayed that he would come and break the deaf and dumb spirit off the people and he would open ears to hear as he opened blind eyes to see. We declared a time of signs and wonders and the power of God to be released as we worshipped singing, “this is a new day and this is a new hour, this is a new season to show your power.” We declared a new season of deliverance and breaking chains of oppression and that the Lord would complete his plans and purposes to destroy the works of the evil one.

The next night Rick Ridings began to minister from the verses in Genesis 28 that caused us to name our gatherings The Gate. As Jacob slept the heavens opened and a ladder appeared and angels descended and ascended to the Lord. Jacob said, “How awesome is this place, this is none other than Bethel, the house of God and this is the gate of heaven.” We were using the management conference room in the hotel at the Dead Sea. A huge motivational poster of a man climbing a ladder into a hole or portal in the clouds was hanging on the wall. At the top of the ladder the Hebrew words on the poster proclaimed: To achieve what is impossible to achieve.

As we welcomed Holy Spirit into the management suite and worshipped together we understood how significant his leading and guiding our time in Israel really was. Tracy said she understood that one of the reasons for our trip to Israel was to intercede for holes or open heavens. We had been declaring a new season where the people of God would have ears to hear and eye to see and would be able to achieve the impossible. Holy Spirit came to affirm our words in the marketplace as well as the open spaces along our journey. Two nights later on Mount Zion the heavens opened in worship and the word and works of Jesus as we ministered. Anointing for deliverance and healing flowed into the people of God as well as a fresh anointing to gather generations together in harmony for worship and to fulfill the plans and purposes of God.

In Jerusalem and in Washington DC his plans and purposes are for the cities to be cities of light. A place of worship. A place of healing, signs and wonders. He has opened the heavens in Jerusalem and Washington DC. He is gathering a company of believing believers who have their hearts ablaze with passion for Jesus; People with eyes to see the invisible. (Who have eyes to see) People with ears to hear the inaudible. (Who have ears to hear) People who believe they can do the impossible.

(In Jesus all things are possible) Desperate, passionate lovers of Jesus who are filled with compassion for the lost and will not stop worship or prayer or ministering until his kingdom comes and his will is done on earth as it is in heaven. He is calling you to according to his plans and purposes to achieve what is impossible to achieve.
