The Key of David Unlocks Your Heart |
Archive List |
The musicians had already assembled and what was a sound check ushered in the manifest presence of the Lord. Those entering The Gate were swept up into a place of his glory and the gathering had begun. Deep worship continued with songs of his holiness interspersed with readings from the book of Revelation and spontaneous song in different versions releasing the key of David. Like fog on a lake in the early dawn the presence of the Lord settled upon us and he filled our senses with his presence and his glory.
Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lord God Almighty. This is the key of David. The gates of the temple are open. Take the key of David. This is he key of David. The dancing hand of God touched one singer and then another. Someone said. The key of David is the key to our hearts. The heart is the temple. Open your heart to the Lord. Another affirmed it in another way and as someone read from Revelation 4 and it was if we heard a voice saying, “come up here” as we worshipped. Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lord god Almighty.
A spontaneous song declared; “My favorite place is the secret place.” And another; “I lay my crown down in the secret place of holiness.” The focus shifted from worship to declaration and we began to sing. “I will run the race set before me. I will seek your face as the prize of my life. I will run.” As if God responded someone sang, “You are the apple of my eye. I will never stop loving you.” Another said, “God will run down in love those he is looking for and bring them to himself. He will capture their hearts. Pray for those he is looking for. Pray for those he will run down with his love.
Pulling on a vision released weeks earlier of an angelic host with horses and chariots waiting at the gate someone prayed. “The horses are at the gate with chariots of hope; chariots of liberty; chariots of fire; chariots of love. Lord release hope. Release liberty.” As singers began to sing, “Let the kingdom come, let the kingdom come” others began to pray “release chariots of grace, release wisdom” and sing, “chariots of fire releasing your presence” and we continued to intercede for the lost and release hope for those that have turned away from the Lord, like hope for the tree in Job 14:7-9.
The spontaneous songs of the key of David returned as Worship-Intercession continued. Someone read Isaiah 62:1-5 and we prayed for the peace of Jerusalem, for Israel and other nations. Let your glory fill the earth Oh Lord because we are made for your glory. Someone read 2 Chronicles 7 of the glory filling the temple and then John 17 of Jesus prayer that we would be one and share the glory of the father and son. We prayed that the glory and the fullness of the Lord would be revealed in the bride. We prayed for spiritual fathers and mothers to help the next generations carry the burden of the presence of the Lord and as we prayed someone saw angels tipping bowls on the generations.
All generations were worshipping together at The Gate and one young woman rose to read a poem and opened the heavens for ministry to release the creative anointing of the Lord. More than 20 writers came forward and the Lord ministered to them and imparted creativity to them as only the creator of all things can do. Revelation 4:11. Our Lord and God, you deserve to receive glory, honor and power because you created everything. Everything came into existence and was created because of your will
