We have gathered for a few years as The Gate. We have been creating an atmosphere of worship and hunger for the presence of God and the manifestation of aspects of the culture of the Kingdom of God.

The Gate is very informal and as we gather we may delay any kind of formal start at 7:30 so that people can connect with one another.  Sometimes we bring everyone up into a circle for testimonies, encouragement and to pray before entering into worship.  We may open this time up for healing ministry or other ministry as well.  Worship may last for an hour or hour and a half.  It is often prophetic and spontaneous with known songs.  On some nights the entire meeting flows in the worship with scripture reading, exhortation, encouragement and other words.  The worship may have a different flavor from week to week.  One week we may go very deep and reverent and another week it may be more praise and joyful celebration.  We may teach at the conclusion of worship or we may open this time up for testimonies and ministry.  Each week is different because our heart is to really follow Holy Spirit every time we gather.

We are creating the atmosphere where heaven can invade earth.  We are pressing in to see the culture of the Kingdom of God on earth. He is enthroned in praise. Where his throne is there is righteousness and justice. There is mercy. There is the presence of the King of Glory. The Kingdom is within so first we have to develop the Kingdom culture in us so that we can, as ambassadors of the kingdom, impart it to the culture around us. That is what we do. We are not trying to create a church culture but a Kingdom culture. We are different because we want our lives to express the culture we are sent from instead of the culture we have inherited in the earth.

Gatherings of the community of believers are all important events. People that gather on a weekly basis at The Gate are also involved in home church settings and many other activities around the region.
